The power generation of power plants above designated size nationwide was 6.03 trillion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 1.4% and a decrease of 1.7% from the same period last year. The main reason is that due to the epidemic and other factors this year, the demand for electricity dropped sharply at the beginning of the year. Since then, with the recovery of social production and residents' lives, electricity consumption has gradually picked up and even rebounded.

In September of this year, my country proposed to strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, and the process of carbon emission reduction was accelerated simultaneously. In order to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality, it is expected that the four most important carbon emission reduction measures in terms of energy conservation, electrification acceleration, clean energy substitution, and carbon pooling technology development will be further strengthened in the later phases of related policies compared with the previous ones. .

It is worth mentioning that my country’s carbon neutrality target policy in 2060 is compared to the 50-70 year transition period from carbon peak to carbon neutrality in Europe and the United States. The implied transition time of my country’s carbon neutrality target is only 30 years. , Which means a steeper energy saving and emission reduction path, which is more difficult to achieve. Therefore, in the "14th Five-Year Plan" and 2035 long-term goals released on November 3, carbon emissions, power infrastructure construction, new energy development and utilization, and competitive market reforms have been involved many times.

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the main contradictions facing my country's power grid have changed. At the same time, the proportion of power electronic equipment has greatly increased. The characteristics of traditional electromagnetic conversion equipment have changed to be dominated by the characteristics of power electronic equipment (such as the access of photovoltaic inverters, wind power converters, charging piles and other equipment), and the safety and stability characteristics are accurate There are certain difficulties to grasp.

To cope with the above-mentioned challenges, the construction of the power grid naturally needs to change, to deal with the state of the power grid in a dynamic way, and to construct the relationship between the elements of the power system with system thinking and ecological theory. Therefore, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the main way to solve the above challenges is to carry out grid construction, promote the development of factors, achieve efficient coordination, and build an energy Internet.

In addition, according to the industry’s outlook for the “14th Five-Year Plan” of the electric power industry, industry insiders believe that the development of the industry in the next few years will show the following six characteristics:

The first is the electricity side. From the perspective of power demand, it is expected that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, economic restructuring will be intensified and the development of high-load energy industries will slow down, but at the same time electric energy substitution will continue to advance. It is expected that electricity demand will continue to grow during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. However, the growth rate has slowed down, and it is estimated that GR=4%~5%, about 5.5% during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period.

The second is the power side. As the proportion of new energy access continues to increase, it is estimated that in 2025, the installed capacity of new energy will reach 33% of domestic capacity and 43% in 30 years.

The third is grid construction. The domestic resource endowment and the reverse power demand division determine the power flow pattern of "West-East Power Transmission" and "North-South Power Transmission". It is expected that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the eastern part will continue to accelerate the formation of North China, Central China, and East China. "UHV synchronous power grid, build the "five vertical and five horizontal" UHV AC main grid, and at the same time coordinate the promotion of UHV DC channel construction, further improve the UHV backbone grid by 2025, and strengthen regional 750kV, 500kV main grid construction Optimize and improve 330kV and 220kV power grids to achieve the coordinated development of power grids at all levels.

The fourth is element development. Cooperative interaction between source, network, load and storage. The current power system is guided by safe and stable operation, and the elements are constrained by conditions. With the increase of elements, the dynamic characteristics are prominent. It is urgent to break the mutual constraints between mechanisms and build an ecosystem, namely source-network-load-storage The mutual linkage and mutual promotion of the elements realize the transition from "source with load" to "source-load interaction" to ensure operational safety and improve operational efficiency.

The fifth is to build an energy internet industry chain. Energy Internet is a typical practice of the Industrial Internet in the field of energy and power. The essence lies in the synergy of factors, horizontal interconnection of production factors and production links, and the vertical connection of advanced information technology. "Energy Internet" has now become an important strategy of the State Grid and China Southern Power Grid, and it is expected to accelerate the construction during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.

The sixth is to break through the technical bottleneck. Speed up technological breakthroughs, promote the localization of core devices such as power industrial control chips and power semiconductors, and promote the application of new technologies such as big data, cloud computing, AI, communication technology, security simulation technology, blockchain, and sensors in the power industry.
